Jason's been a chronic maker and fixer as long as he can remember. From building his own first truck, to wooden furniture pieces built for his family, caringly marked with a brand "Love Dad."
His journey building took him through mechanical engineering and into the corporate space, where he worked 8 years for Walmart, designing and fitting out retail stores across the world. But Jason always knew there was something else out there waiting for him, that would allow him to work as an entrepreneur and make with his hands.
Jason's role was made redundant in 2012. It was a huge shock, but ultimately led to him becoming formally trained by the best in the custom concrete industry, and starting his own company, originally named "Engineered Art". From the beginning, he was praised for his daring, sometimes naive tendency to disregard convention, apply his engineering expertise and push the boundaries of what's possible with concrete.
He's since built a thriving business, and loves the creative process of designing, making and installing custom concrete pieces.
